Chorto Overview
Chorto (Greek: Χόρτο) is a village is the municipal unit of Argalasti in Magnesia, Greece.
Its population in 2001 was 133. Chorto is located by the Pagasetic Gulf and offers a beach that are filled with hotels and restaurants. The area around Chorto lies the ancient city of Spalathra, the community saw an increase between World War I and the World War II as an agricultural centre of olive which are produced in the southern Pelio up to its nearby port. Chorto is a well organized village, offering visitors many comforts and amenities.
